Mark Brayshaw
Chief Executive Officer PGA LINKS Management.
Mark Brayshaw joined ClubLINKS, a subsidiary
of LinksLiving and the operator of its club management support activities
in 2003 and has since also become CEO of PGA LINKS, the manager
of LinksLiving's communities. He is therefore responsible for the
management of LinksLiving's entire club management functions. Mark
has over fifteen years experience in club management and was formerly
the CEO of Richmond Football Club.
Wayne Sutherland
PGA LINKS General Manager, Golf.
Wayne Sutherland has 15 years experience in the service industry, including
5 years in Front Office positions with Rydges Hotel Group, 5 years as a senior
manager of a major golf retail company and most recently in his role of Marketing
and Sales Manager for the Australian Golf Exchange, a specialist organisation
involved in transferable membership modelled golf clubs across Australia.
John Nielsen
PGA LINKS General Manager, Hospitality.
John has been working with leading global hospitality companies over
25 years.. Companies include the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, Hyatt
International and Ritz-Carlton. Having lived in Europe and Asia
Pacific, John arrived in Melbourne and took on the role of Food & Beverage
Manager at Crown Towers in 1997 and co-founded Liquid Assets Wine
Storage 1999. In 2003 he became Director of Food & Beverage
at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne and in 2006 Regional Director of Sales & Marketing
for Kiwi Collection, a global hotel marketing company. He is currently
completing a Master of Business specializing in Tourism & Marketing.
Ross Williamson
PGA LINKS’ General Manager
at Sanctuary Lakes Resort.
Until recently, Ross was PGA LINKS’ General
Manager of the Geelong Golf Club and oversaw that club’s
eventful journey.
Prior to his position with PGA LINKS, Ross performed a significant
role with the Victorian Government State Facilities Division as
a planning consultant.
He was also a member of the senior management team at Melbourne Sports and
Aquatic Centre, Albert Park.
Nick Thornton
PGA LINKS’ General Manager at Sandhurst Club.
Prior to joining PGA Links, Nick was General Manager at Kooringal
Golf Club in Altona and Churchill Park Golf Club. Nick has over 10
years experience in the golf industry in both operational and management
roles. Nick has completed a Bachelor of Business with a major in
Professional Golf Management at Queensland’s Griffith University.
Tyson Beswick
Tyson is a PGA professional who operates
the Illawarra Golf Club near Wollongong NSW on behalf of PGA LINKS.
Prior to joining PGA Links in 2007, Tyson was Teaching/Assistant
Golf professional at Wollongong Golf Club. He has also spent time
teaching golf in Singapore and at Port Kembla Golf club.
Tyson now draws on his 8 years golf industry experience to manage
and best maximise returns from the Illawarra Golf club. He has become
part of the modern trend of an appropriately skilled and supported
PGA Professional to successfully assume a venue management role.
Peter Jans
PGA LINKS General Manager, Course Maintenance.
Peter Jans has 17 years experience in the Golf Course Maintenance
industry, including 8 years as Manager of Sanctuary Lakes Resort.
Peter's previous roles include building a "state of the art" Driving
Range and the extension of the golf course for Albert Park Golf
Management. Prior to that he worked for the
Woodlands Golf Club. Peter's vast tournament experience includes
hosting the Victorian PGA and the Victorian Open a total of seven
times. Peter also serves as the State Secretary of the VGCSA Association
and gained his qualifications at Burnley University as a horticulturist.
Our team represents decades of relevant industry experience which is drawn upon as required through arrangement with the individual venues at which time personnel are domiciled. This provides for the availability of specialist advice in agronomy, golf services, hospitality and residential / body corporate solutions as required.
